Selected candidates will enter into a Learnership Agreement, registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA). The programme is structured to ensure both theoretical and practical training.
Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with passes in Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
- N2 Certificate including four trade-related subjects: Maths, Engineering Science, and two others related to boilermaking
- Engineering NCV Certificates with seven subjects at NQF Level 4
- Technical Grade 11 with Maths, Science, Language, and relevant trade theory subject
- N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma directly related to trade theory
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
Only technically inclined and unemployed youth will be considered for this opportunity.
