Main Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility to:
- Facilitate and coordinate Learnership training programs.
- Assess and moderate training outcomes for learners.
- Conduct practical on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure learners gain relevant competencies that support Empact Group’s operational excellence.
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must possess the following educational background and experience:
- A Senior Certificate (Matric) as a basic requirement.
- A Further Education and Training Certificate: ODETD (NQF Level 4) or higher will offer a competitive advantage.
- Accreditation as an Assessor and Moderator with the Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SSETA) for these qualifications:
- SAQA ID – 57937 (NQF Level 1)
- SAQA ID – 36233 (NQF Level 2)
- SAQA ID – 20175 (NQF Level 3)
- Relevant qualifications and hands-on experience in Hygiene and Cleaning will be essential.
- A reliable personal vehicle is mandatory for travel to multiple training sites.

Detailed Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve Learning and Development Targets
The core responsibility is to ensure that facilitation, assessments, and moderation are completed in line with set performance standards. This includes:
- Conducting classroom and on-site training.
- Administering competency-based assessments.
- Providing constructive feedback and performance evaluations.
2. Stakeholder Engagement and Quality Assurance
Collaborate with internal and external training partners to ensure full compliance with SETA regulations and quality standards:
- Attend and actively contribute in stakeholder meetings.
- Report on training outcomes and highlight areas of concern or improvement.
- Ensure training tools, materials, and content meet industry benchmarks.
3. Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning
Create detailed schemes of work, lesson plans, and schedules aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and Empact’s internal objectives:
- Design training sessions that cater to varied learning styles.
- Integrate theory with practical application for maximum learner retention.
- Regularly review and update course material to maintain relevance.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation
Maintain comprehensive records, including:
- Attendance registers, assessment reports, and evaluation forms.
- Learner progress tracking and final certification documentation.
- Post-course evaluations and feedback summaries for reporting purposes.
5. Compliance and Accreditation Management
Ensure active accreditation with SETAs and relevant authorities, maintaining professional development and updating facilitator, assessor, and moderator credentials:
- Stay informed on industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate accreditation documentation for auditing purposes.
