Are you a young South African looking for a career in Information Technology? Hessequa Municipality, in partnership with Inzalo Enterprise Management Systems, is offering 20 fully funded ICT learnerships for 2025. This 12-month training programme is aimed at unemployed matriculants residing in the Hessequa area who are ready to build their future in the fast-growing digital world.
Programme Details and Structure
Learnership Title:
FETC: IT – Technical Support (NQF Level 4)
SAQA ID: 78964
Duration: 12 months
- 6 months classroom-based training
- 6 months practical workplace experience
Start Date: Approximately 1 September 2025
End Date: Approximately 31 August 2026
Training Times: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:00
Location: Riversdale Thusong Centre
Monthly Stipend: R2,500
The programme provides hands-on ICT skills aligned with real industry demands, helping you become job-ready.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is for unemployed South African youth who meet the following requirements:
- Must live in the Hessequa municipal area
- Aged between 18 and 35
- Hold a certified Grade 12 certificate
- Be computer literate (you may be tested)
- Have a certified South African ID (not older than 3 months)
- Provide proof of residential address (e.g. municipal bill)
- Able to use own transport to attend training
- Have not participated in any MICT SETA or other SETA-funded programme in the past two years

- Certified copy of your matric certificate
- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Proof of address
- Confirmation of transport access

Learnership Benefits
