We are searching for a passionate and reliable Food Service Team Member to join our dedicated kitchen team in Kuils River, Western Cape. This full-time, permanent role offers a dynamic work environment with shift-based schedules and the chance to grow in the food service industry.

Your Key Responsibilities

Efficient Food Preparation

Prepare KFC products with speed and precision, using kitchen equipment safely. Manage multiple orders while ensuring each dish is cooked to perfection. Follow recipe charts and preparation guides to maintain consistency.

Order Accuracy and Packaging

Verify each order for accuracy before serving. Package food neatly and securely to maintain quality during service. Ensure every item meets company standards for presentation and portion size.

Ingredient Management

Cut, prepare, and store ingredients following hygiene standards. Monitor stock levels and inform management of any shortages. Receive and store new supplies correctly to maintain freshness and prevent waste.

Kitchen Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain clean and safe cooking areas at all times. Follow cleaning schedules for equipment and work surfaces. Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues immediately.

Team Support

Work flexibly across different roles in the kitchen. Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Take on additional duties as requested by management to keep the restaurant running efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate
  • Strong command of English
  • Reside within 15km of Kuils River
  • Clear criminal record

Preferred Experience

While not essential, the following will be an advantage:

  • Previous experience as a Cook, Back of House Staff, Crew Member, or Team Member
  • Male candidates between 21 and 35 years old
  • EE/AA candidates encouraged to apply
