Updated Salary Information:

Job Level 13 – Grade 4 Local Authority

  • Basic Salary: R151,260.00 – R165,708.00 per annum
  • Total Cost to Company: R280,339.00 per annum

Minimum Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Grade 10 (Grade 12 is an added advantage)
  • Driver’s License: Advantageous
  • Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in general work, specifically as a cleaner within a local government authority
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Good physical health
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (must be bilingual)
    • Ability to follow instructions and perform physical tasks
    • Self-disciplined, hardworking, and reliable
    • Must reside within the jurisdiction of Midvaal Local Municipality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, kitchen, and stockroom
  • Ensure a hygienic environment for staff and visitors
  • Serve tea and coffee to department guests
  • Prepare meeting venues (cleaning, placing water and glasses, refreshments)
  • Assist with general office administration when duties are completed
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
