Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Education: Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric)
- Certification: Valid Grade C Security Certificate with Armed Response endorsement
- PSIRA Registration: Must be currently registered and in good standing
- Driving Skills: Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience
- Firearm Competency: Valid SAPS firearm competency for business purposes
- Experience: Proven Armed Reaction experience is compulsory
- Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to perform under pressure
- Language: Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Record: No criminal record or pending cases
- Availability: Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities
As an Armed Response Officer, your duties will include:
