Job Description:
The Finance Clerk plays a vital role in managing financial processes and supporting daily accounting operations. The role includes managing debtors and creditors, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, handling supplier payments, and maintaining electronic filing. Accuracy, detail orientation, and strong communication are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete debtors and creditors function.
  • Process cashbook entries and reconcile accounts.
  • Handle customer invoices at the correct price and quantity.
  • Prepare daily sales order listings.
  • Run customer statements per company SOP.
  • Assist with customer queries and follow up on PODs.
  • Prepare weekly POD files for review.
  • Process GRVs and supplier invoices.
  • Prepare supplier payments on time.
  • Maintain electronic filing and update department registers.

Qualifications Required:

  • Matric certificate.
  • Finance or accounting qualification (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Sage 200 Evolution experience (beneficial).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar finance role.
  • Previous FMCG, Retail, or Fast Food experience (advantageous).

  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work under pressure with accuracy.

Salary: Negotiable (monthly, in ZAR).
