Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
  • No prior experience required
  • Good understanding of:
    • Public Service Regulations
    • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
    • Departmental policies and procedures
    • National Archives and Records Service Act, No. 43 of 1996

Essential Skills:

  • Computer literacy
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a government setting

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth, accurate document flow between the Office of the Director-General and stakeholders
  • Receive, register, distribute and file documents per File Plan and National Archives Act
  • Maintain structured records within the Management Information System
  • Provide administrative support aligned with legislative guidelines
  • Study and apply public service regulatory documents relevant to the department
