Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12/Matric (NQF Level 4)
- A relevant NQF Level 6 qualification in Town Planning, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or any built environment field
- Must be unemployed and have not participated in an internship programme before
- Only City of Johannesburg residents will be considered
This ensures the programme benefits local youth and aligns with the city’s skills development strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
Interns will:
- Coordinate and monitor public housing stock management projects
- Support procurement processes, building contracts, and tender documentation
- Provide administrative support, ensuring confidentiality and timely delivery of documents
- Act as a programme coordinator for assigned housing projects
