The Directorate of Operations Northern is currently recruiting for a specialized Security Officer at the Mokolo Pump Station. This is a highly regulated National Key Point (NKP) role, requiring a candidate with a strong understanding of state security protocols, legislative frameworks, and physical asset protection.

• Specialized Training: National Key Point (NKP) Training Certificate is mandatory.
• Firearms: Valid Firearm Competency Certificate.
• Legal Knowledge: Deep understanding of the NKP Act, Labour Relations Act, and the South African Constitution.
• Skills: Risk assessment, investigation, interviewing, and advanced report writing.

• Movement Control: Rigorous screening of people, vehicles, and goods.
• Asset Protection: Preventing the unauthorized removal of equipment, documents, or stores.
• Incident Administration: Maintaining high-fidelity records in the Occurrence Books (OB) and incident registers.
• Surveillance: Continuous monitoring of the NKP security perimeter.
