Opportunity Summary
AfriSam invites young, technically inclined individuals to apply for the 2025 Boilermaker Learnership Programme. This programme offers both practical and theoretical training, registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).
Located at the Eikenhof Quarry in Gauteng, this is a chance to gain industry-recognised skills with one of South Africa’s leading suppliers of cement, aggregate, and readymix concrete.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must meet at least one of the following:
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
- N2 Certificate with four trade-related subjects (including Maths and Engineering Science)
- Engineering NCV Certificate (7 subjects at NQF Level 4)
- Technical Grade 11 with Maths, Science, Language, and relevant trade theory
- N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma related to the trade
- A valid driver’s license is an added advantage
Note: Only unemployed youth with technical aptitude will be considered.
